Water tightness
Classification of doors and windows according to BDS EN 12208:2003. The classification shows the pressure in X Pa, at which the product is water tight.

Air permeability
The class of air permeability was defined under BDS EN 12207:2003. According to the results, the products were divided in four classes. The classification shows the air permeability of the frame at pressure 150/ 300/ 600 Pa respectively (which corresponds to wind velocity about 57/ 80/ 157 km/h). The tested sample corresponds to a definite class if the tested air permeability does not exceed the upper limit of any test stages for a particular class.

Wind resistance
Stress acting perpendicularly of the window plane as a result of pressure and suction by wind. The classification was defined under BDS EN 12210:2003. It shows the frame capability to withstand pressure by wind with particular velocity.

The deformation under Class А is greater (< 1/150 from the frame height), and for Class С – smaller.
Thermal transmittance
(BS EN ISO 12567-1) shows the heat quantity which is transferred for a specified time through 1 sq. m. glazed surface at temperature differences of 1К between the contacting with the glass room air and the outside one (Ug=W/m2/K). The smaller the value, the less heat loss is and the less you pay for heating.

Sound control (Rw)
The Rw index measures the window or the door sound insulation. The higher the value of the index, the better the sound insulation is.

Burglary resistance
The doors and windows’ ability to withstand burglary. The higher the protection class is, the more time will be needed to break in and the greater the probability is the burglars to need special tools. These Burglary Resistance classes were defined according to the tools and the break in methods used. The classification is under EN1627 – 1630.
CLASS (RC/WK) Used Methods And Tools
1 Basic protection of physical force by kicking, jumping, getting a shoulder, etc.
2 Protection of an attempt to break in using tools such as flat-bladed screwdriver, pliers, wedges.
3 Protection of attempts to break the locked and bolted construction parts with a second additional tool - screwdriver or lever.
4 Protection of attempted burglary by an experienced burglar using tools like a saw, ax, chisel, hammer and portable drill with batteries.
5 Protection of attempted burglary by an experienced burglar using electrical tools such as drill, saber saw, angle grinder with a maximum blade diameter 125 mm.
6 Protection of attempted burglary by an experienced burglar using powerful electrical tools such as electric drill, saber saw, angle grinder with a maximum blade diameter of 250 mm.
